Deal activity in the New York Metro area jumped during the second quarter, while funding remained flat.
That’s according to the most recent “MoneyTree” report from PricewaterhouseCoopers and CB Insights.
The number of deals jumped to 193 deals, up from 179 in the first quarter of 2018, but quarterly funding increased only slightly to $2.8 billion. See the chart below:
Of the most active investment firms in New York is Insight Venture Partners, the report showed.
